Mark McManus - Partner, ICI Division

Mark McManus is a Partner at Valco Consultants Inc. and has been with the firm since 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Management degree from Athabasca University and the University of British Columbia, along with his AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Working within Valco’s Investment, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) division, Mark specializes in a wide range of real estate appraisal and consulting assignments across Ontario. His extensive portfolio includes single and multi-tenant retail and commercial properties, multi-family residential buildings, industrial facilities, office buildings, investment properties, and vacant development land.

Mark also has significant experience with special-use properties such as manufactured home communities, seasonal resort communities, campgrounds, marinas, automotive dealerships, medical and dental offices, veterinary clinics, mini-storage facilities, restaurants, schools, churches, and retirement and long-term care homes.
His diverse client base includes individual property owners, real estate investors, lawyers, accountants, national corporations, municipalities, and all major commercial banks and credit unions. Mark is an active member of a local leads group comprised of young professionals from across the City of London, representing a variety of industries.

Matt Telford - Partner, ICI Division

Matt has been with Valco since 2005, obtaining his AACI designation in 2012 and becoming partner in 2015. He works in the ICI division, focussing on Investment, Commercial and Industrial properties across Ontario. Property types include single and multi-tenant retail and commercial properties, multi-family (converted houses to high rise apartment buildings), industrial buildings, office buildings, investment properties, condominium townhouses (insurance reports), as well as vacant development land.

Special use properties include; co-op’s, golf courses, automotive dealerships, schools, churches, car washes, gas stations, student housing, as well as retirement and long term care homes. Ryan Parker - Partner, Ag. Division

Ryan

Ryan, a partner at Valco, specializes in appraising agricultural and agri-business properties across Ontario. He has been with Valco since 2009, after completing his undergraduate degree in real estate at the University of Guelph. Ryan’s agricultural valuation expertise aids various clients in completing appraisals for financing, succession planning, estate, dispute resolution and various other purposes.

The main property types that he focuses on include farmland, dairy farms, poultry farms, swine farms, and beef farms. Ryan is also a specialist in appraising grain elevator, feed mill and farm supply facilities. He also publishes an annual study on farmland values across Southwestern Ontario. Ryan is a proud member of various organizations, including CAFA as a Certified Agricultural Farm Advisor, OIA as a Professional Agrologist, and AIC as an AACI appraiser. Ryan and his family operate a cow-calf farm in Middlesex County.

Jeff Sattin - Appraiser, ICI Division

Jeff is an appraiser and specializes in Investment, Commercial, and Industrial properties across Ontario. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Guelph, specializing in Marketing Management and the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation at the Sauder School of Business, through the University of British Columbia. Jeff has experience with single and multi-tenant commercial, industrial, and retail properties, multi-family properties, office buildings and vacant land.

He has completed a number of assignments for expropriation, financing, internal decision making, and market rental and availability studies, for a variety of clients which include individual property owners, real estate investors, national corporations, all levels of government, and notable commercial banks and credit unions.

Sherif Latif - Candidate Appraiser

Sherif Latif is a Candidate Appraiser on the Valco team. He completed his education at King’s College at Western University in History and French, and also speaks Arabic. He is currently enrolled at the University of British Columbia, completing his Post Graduate Certificate Program in Real Property Valuation.

Sherif is familiar with the London and surrounding market and has been a lifelong London resident. He has personal experience in real estate investment and construction. He works in the ICI division, focusing on Investment, Commercial and Industrial properties across Ontario.

Cassandra Bradshaw - Candidate Appraiser

Cassandra

Cassandra Bradshaw is a Candidate Appraiser with Valco Consultants, specializing in the Investment, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) division. She is gaining practical experience in commercial, industrial, office, and multi-family developments, and has enjoyed working on projects including green buildings and high-rise apartment developments. Cassandra began her career in residential appraisal before transitioning to the ICI sector, building a well-rounded foundation in property valuation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Public Policy Development from the University of Ottawa, where she also completed an internship with the House of Commons.

Fluent in English and French, she has also studied Spanish at the university level.
Cassandra is currently completing a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation through the University of British Columbia, working toward developing her expertise and professional designation.

Originally from Blenheim, Ontario, Cassandra now resides in London, Ontario. Her education, hands-on experience, and enthusiasm for diverse property types enable her to provide insightful, precise, and professional real estate valuation support.

Fraser Brandon-Sutherland - Appraiser, Residential Division

Fraser is the lead residential appraiser at Valco Consultants. As the firm’s residential appraisal specialist, he completes appraisals of single-family homes, townhouses, apartment units, multi-unit properties (duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes), rural residential properties and hobby farms. He serves a wide range of clients including homeowners, lawyers, builders, accountants, mortgage brokers, mortgage investment corporations, credit unions, banks and municipalities. His appraisals are used for purchases, refinancing, construction loans, asset valuation, capital gains determination, estate settlement, power of sale proceedings and divorce/separation matters.

Fraser operates out of London and provides appraisal services throughout Southwestern Ontario, primarily in Middlesex, Oxford, Norfolk, Elgin, Chatham-Kent, Perth, Huron, Lambton County and the Region of Waterloo.

With professional designations as both a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and a Professional Appraiser (P.App., C.R.A.), Fraser brings strong technical insight and analytical precision to every assignment. He takes pride in providing his clients with open, responsive communication and clear, reliable reports. Bill Weber - Office Manager

Bill has been with Valco for 15 years. He manages our day to day operations and is responsible for Financial and Government Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. Bill’s educational background is a 3 year Business Accounting degree with Honours through Georgian College. While at Georgian College, Bill was a member of SAC, and various committees.

Sneha (Mathew) Placid is an Executive Assistant to Mark McManus and Matt Telford, valued for her strong organizational ability and proactive support. Having worked in Commercial Banking for over seven years, Sneha offers a practical, informed approach to her executive support role. Her time in commercial banking gave her solid skills in financial analysis, market research, and report writing. Sneha uses these skills to organize essential communications and simplify administrative tasks, helping the Partners perform at their best. A graduate of Western University, Sneha developed the analytical and problem-solving skills that shape her professional style.
