D.W. (DON) LAMBERT, AACI, P.App, CRF
REAL ESTATE APPRAISER AND CONSULTANT

Don was born in Watford, Ontario. He was awarded the AACI designation by the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1960 and the MAI designation by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers in 1970. In 1985, he earned the CRF (Certified Real Estate Finance) designation of the Real Estate Institute of Canada, and the P.App. of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Don is experienced in all types of real estate: single and multi-family residential, commercial, office, industrial, institutional and special-use properties. His professional background includes ten years in mortgage finance with a major life insurance company and real estate investment activities in the United States and Canada. He was Chief Appraiser with Mortgage Insurance Company of Canada with regional and national responsibilities and has over 25 years experience in fee appraisal assignments in Ontario, including extensive expropriation and litigation work.

Don has lectured on appraisal subjects at various universities and colleges. He has been extensively involved with the Appraisal Institute of Canada at local, provincial and national levels. He has served as the Institute's National President and as Ontario Chapter President of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers. His professional background also includes the presidency of the London Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of Canada as well as numerous speaking engagements
